Carly Belle Cason is an actor, violence designer, and movement choreographer with roots deep in the heart of Texas. She is an Advanced Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors, and studied Shakespeare with the Stella Adler Conservatory in NYC. Carly is excited to be back with Quicksilver as an actor and Co-Fight Choreographer for her third round of Mercury Hamlet.

Jordan Golding is thrilled to return for a second run of Mercury Hamlet. When he’s not sweating bullets before a Quicksilver show, you can catch him at his “day job” at Chicago’s Drunk Shakespeare, where he imbibes and performs weekly — in that order. In addition to performing Shakespeare, he is also an avid composer of music for the Bard’s works, having most recently served as Music Director and Composer for Midsommer Flight’s Twelfth Night in December 2019. He will return as Music Director and Composer for Midsommer Flight’s upcoming summer production.

Samie Jo Johnson is grateful to have fallen in with the Quicksilver crew, this method of madness is an absolute dream project. Prior to landing in Chicago, Samie Jo has lived and worked in Seattle, Denver, Southern Indiana, and the many highways in between. As an actor, she most enjoys working on texts that are either centuries old or still in development. As a writer, she’s all about the poetry. Samie Jo hosts a monthly Queird Art Party, a queer space for new work. Samie Jo has trained in various theatre making techniques domestically and abroad and has a BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Evansville.

Kirsten Linder is thrilled to be back at the mercy of the cards for her second round of Mercury Hamlet. Born in Muncie, Indiana, Kirsten moved to Virginia in 2014 to attend William and Mary where she studied Health Sciences and Theatre. Kirsten deepened her exploration of Theatre and Shakespeare at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (Summer 2017) and the National Theatre Institute (Summer 2016.) When not performing drama on stage, she deals with the day-to-day drama of four-year-olds as an assistant preschool teacher in Roscoe Village.

Evin McQuistion is an actor, director, and journeyman human who really lucked out when it came to joining Quicksilver after he wandered out of college and into Chicago during the Fall of 2018. He’s been on stage doing Shakespeare and improv in Tennessee and North Carolina, and now he mostly does the same in Chicago. He has a framed copy of his BA in Theatre from East Tennessee State University in his childhood bedroom in Wisconsin.

Hannah Noelle moved to Chicago from Seattle last July. On the way across the country, she stopped in Lenox, MA to train with Shakespeare and Co.  While deepening her love of the Bard, Hannah discovered the power of vulnerability while performing Shakespeare and how that vulnerability speaks to an intimate audience. A couple of weeks after training, she had the pleasure of watching her roommate AC perform in Mercury Hamlet. Hannah fell in love with the double accessibility of that performance–for both performers and audience. Now, her journey will come full circle as Hannah shares the stage in company with the actors she so admired.

AC Rakotoniaina is excited to continue their work with Quicksilver after touring with Mercury Hamlet. Other Chicago credits include: The Tempest(Commission Theatre), Bicycle Thieves (Littlebrain Theatre) at RhinoFest, A Klingon Christmas Carol (EDGE of Orion) and Richard III (Muse of Fire Theatre Company). Corrie Riedl is an actor, singer, and animal lover who could not be more pleased to have found an artistic home with Quicksilver. She has been working with Quicksilver since it’s early development stages in 2017 and looks forward to sharing it with the rest of the world! She has worked with several Chicago companies including Collaboraction, On the Spot Theatre, Invictus Theatre, and Promethean Theatre Ensemble. When she is not with Quicksilver, Corrie can be found working in Audience Services at Lookingglass Theatre Company, at a law firm downtown, dog sitting, and enjoying wine and good cheese with friends.

Carly Belle Cason ( Combat ) is an actor, violence designer, and movement choreographer with roots deep in the heart of Texas. She has been studying combat for six years, and is an Advanced Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors, and is currently working as one Fight Master Chuck Coyl’s fantastic team of teaching assistants at Actor’s Gymnasium. With a background in modern dance, Cason incorporates techniques developed by Mary Overlie and Merce Cunningham into her design. She is excited to be back as an actor and Co-fight choreographer for her third round with Mercury Hamlet.

Tess Galbiati ( Intimacy ) is so excited to be involved with Quicksilver Shakespeare for her third year! While she has previously been a player for QS, she is transitioning full time into the role of Intimacy Director. She previously received Intimacy training from Chelsea Pace at Arizona State University, and has worked with Intrinsic Theatre Company for Intimacy Coaching as well. She was part of the original team to bring intimacy to Quicksilver, and is stoked that the department is being fully fleshed out. Intimacy is such an essential part of theatre making, especially in a process as mercurial as this.
